Award-Winning Audio Drama Production Company, RRCA Releases Anne Manx: Beginnings

The Highly-Anticipated 8th Installment of the Audio Drama Series is Here

ELMWOOD PARK, NJ (May 17, 2023) - "Anne Manx: Beginnings" is a prequel to the long-running Anne Manx series, which premiered in 2001. The series focuses on Anne's experiences as a cadet at the Intergalactic Police Academy, the training program required for entrance into the Intergalactic Police Force. Two story arcs encompass the six episodes, one of which will highlight the vocal talents of its star Heather Botts, primarily known for her Broadway work.

What additionally makes the series unique is that the entire six-episode series, each of which runs approximately 30 minutes, was produced prior to its anticipated release. In the past, RRCA would produce single episodes at a time. The entire series will be rolled out on the same date, which is perfect for listeners to binge-listen to the newest installment. As an added bonus, for the first time in RRCA history, the entire series will use 3-D audio, to give fans the most immersive experience as possible.

“Beginnings” will star Heather Botts with credits on Broadway, including Doctor Zhivago and My Fair Lady, as well as countless regional productions around the United States. Botts will play “Cadet Manx” in this installment of the Anne Manx series.

RRCA has also just begun production on a new Anne Manx adventure. Titled "Anne Manx and her Dark Place," the show will bring back both Claudia Christian and Patricia Tallman, as Anne Manx and Jean Richmond, respectively.

The six episodes will be available for download on June 1st at rrca.com. For more Anne Manx content, visit annemanxbooks.com for byte-sized e-novellas, like/follow Radio Repertory Company of America on Facebook, and follow @radiorepca on Twitter and Instagram.
