RADIO REPERTORY COMPANY OF AMERICA CREATIVE DIRECTOR EXPANDS ANNE MANX STORYWORLD INTO GRAPHIC NOVELS

Transmedia Approach Allows Company to Reach Out to Comic Book Lovers

(Parsippany, NJ) – The Radio Repertory Company of America has decided to create a new website that contains comic book chapters based on the already successful Anne Manx series. This is known as a form of transmedia storytelling, which uses existing media platforms to create more satisfying stories in a multi-dimensional space. Hence, it takes stories and expands them to another level of engagement for the audience, providing deeper insights through its use of various platforms and techniques.

RRCA developed a new comic book website to expand its dimensions in storytelling. As technology is evolving and expanding, audiences expect more exciting and richer stories, which is something transmedia and RRCA can deliver. Transmedia can be defined as a technique in storytelling that extends across multiple media forms. Through creating this online storytelling content, it can give lovers of the Anne Manx series a deeper expansion and depth to entertaining narratives, creating an even greater emotional connection to the characters and storyline.

The website’s first chapter of the comic strip series is anticipated to be published by the end of the summer. Its programs have aired on traditional radio stations, as well as the Internet and satellite stations all over the world and now the company is ready to use a combination of media forms to tell their stories.
